2024:

I’m beyond thrilled to announce that I am one of the winners of the 2024/25 NETFLIX DOC FUND!!! I will be directing this short and co-producing with Savannah James-Bayly.

Coming to a screen near you June 2025!

Very chuffed to be the winner of the 5th FILMD Grants award for my short film Solstice.
This is what they said: Maya’s vision stood out among an incredible group of submissions, and we’re honoured to support her journey as she brings this story to life.

My short film A Period Comedy is a finalist for the Get It Made film fund. Very excited about this project which is very dear to my heart.
